Our Doctor

Dr. Krithika Chellappa

A native of sunny Southern California, Dr. Krithika Chellappa received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. In 2002, she earned her dental degree from The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. In 2004, after some convincing from her husband (a native of the Pacific Northwest), she moved to the beautiful Evergreen State of Washington. She joined Smiles for Life Family Dentistry in 2006, and has since had the privilege of developing many long-term relationships with her patients.


Art and science are two of Krithika’s passions and dentistry has given her an outlet to put those loves together. She is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance her skills to better serve the dental care needs of her patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. When she isn’t treating patients, Dr. Chellappa enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Together they enjoy the great outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, skiing, or simply sitting back and taking in all the beauty Washington State has to offer.
